The kick off to Summer starts tomorrow! ... and a great way to celebrate summer is to throw a beach bash! Lookn' for fabulous summer birthday party ideas? Well look no further.... A beach bash is a terrific idea for any birthday, at any age. This one in particular was for an 8 year old little girl in sunny California. Styling this event was so much fun! We had everything you could image from beach balls, surf boards, and leis, to cake, candy and flip-flop lollipops. The greatest joy was seeing their faces light up with surprised excitement.
Made the dessert table the center of attraction by using a premium table cloth resembling fish scales. Making it fun and age appropriate by using paper straws in the marshmallows and beach inspired confections sugar candy on the chocolate covered pretzels. Added white frosted gumballs, "pearls" to the Madeline's "shells" and surf board/flip-flop lollipops pulled the whole look together.
