It's only fitting that I throw my son, who's been playing soccer since he was 3, a soccer themed birthday party. Due to our busy schedule and all my events, I left my son's birthday planning to last minute. So....here's a quick and cost effective way to put together a soccer theme party.
My one-stop-shop was PartyCity and Ralphs. Party City had every {soccer} decor imaginable and Ralphs had a 24hr turn around time for a custom cake. I incorporated the accumulation of all his trophies throughout the years as decor, both on the dessert table and as a centerpiece. The grass (astro turf) added some dimension and texture and the Gatorade {of course} was a must.
